Game Vision

Lords & Empires

Development Team

When we started developing this game, we asked ourselves a single question:
What does it truly mean to be a ruler?

While developing Lords & Empires, our goal is to deliver a ruling experience that goes beyond classic mobile strategy games.

Welcome to the first developer diary of our new game. In this devlog series, we will transparently share every step of the game’s development.

In our first devlog, we wanted to talk about the vision behind Lords & Empires.

Lords & Empires is not being developed as a fast-consumed conquest game, but as a strategic experience where decisions have real consequences and power is not defined by numbers alone.

In most mobile strategy games, progression is fast, battles are automated, and outcomes are predictable.
We want to break this cycle.

In this game, building a kingdom is not just about constructing buildings or training armies; it also means balancing the economy, using commanders in the right place, anticipating when morale will break, and sometimes knowing when to retreat.

In Lords & Empires, battles are not just about numbers.

A single wrong decision can bring weeks of progress to an end.

At the heart of the game lie three core principles:

Meaningful decisions

Readable yet deep systems

Long-term strategy

While shaping this vision, we have drawn inspiration from many strategy games, including Calradia Online, Ikariam, Travian, Rise of Kingdoms, Clash of Kings, Clash of Clans, Stronghold Kingdoms, Imperia Online, and many more.

Lords & Empires is not a finished game yet. But it knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be from the very beginning. And we want to walk this journey together with you, from the very first step.

What do you think is the most important element in a strategy game?
Army strength, economy, or the weight of the decisions you make?

Next week, we’ll take a closer look at Lords & Empires’ core features and its world.
