Building Panels and Resource Collection

Lords & Empires

Development Team

Hello everyone!

In last week’s developer diary, we briefly talked about the buildings in our capital. This week, we will take a closer look at the collection, information, and upgrade panels of these buildings, as well as their special features.

Resource Production and Collection

Various buildings in our capital produce important resources that help our kingdom grow. These resources include:

  • Gold
  • Wood
  • Stone
  • Iron
  • Food
  • Honor
  • Population

Our buildings produce resources at certain intervals. When the resources are ready to be collected, the game will notify you with a visual indicator. Once you click the building and collect them, the resources are added directly to your reserves.

The main purpose of this system is to reward active players. If you do not log into the game for a while and fail to collect your resources, your buildings will stop producing. This is because each building has a limited storage capacity.

Building Panel

When you click on a building, a control window will appear. In this window you will typically see:

  • Building name
  • Building level
  • Information button
  • Upgrade button
  • Special feature panel (if available)

Information Panel

The information panel allows you to quickly view the basic details of the building. Here you can learn about its primary functions and benefits.

Upgrade Panel

In the upgrade panel, you can see:

  • The resources required to upgrade the building to the next level
  • The advantages you will gain after the upgrade

This helps players plan their development more effectively.

Special Features Panel

This panel does not exist in every building. Buildings that have unique mechanics include their own special features here.

For example:

  • Barracks: Training soldiers
  • Intelligence Center: Training spies

Each building has its own unique mechanics and gameplay functions.

If you have any questions about this topic, feel free to ask us. We also look forward to hearing your feedback.

In the next developer diary, we will talk about the “Spy” mechanic.

Take care until then! 😊

Note: Since Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in Türkiye next week (21.03.2026), the next developer diary will be published on 28.03.2026.
